Why we brought Phoenix Water Filters to the Netherlands

We are Misha and Remko, two down-to-earth entrepreneurs with a clear mission: clean drinking water should be a given in the Netherlands. But the reality is different.

In recent years, we've increasingly read and heard disturbing reports about PFAS, lead, pharmaceutical residues, and microplastics in our tap water. It got us thinking: what are you really drinking when you take a glass of tap water?

Looking for a solution

We started investigating. First, we tried the familiar filter jugs. Convenient and inexpensive, but their effectiveness proved limited. Then came the permanent installations: good technology, but expensive, complicated, and often only possible with a qualified installer.

What was missing was a filter that delivers truly clean water, is affordable and simply fits on the counter at home.

The Discovery: Phoenix Gravity Water Filters

We found the solution with the Phoenix Gravity Water Filters. A gravity filter made of high-quality stainless steel. No electricity, no hassle: fill it with tap water and you get pure, fresh, and reliable drinking water. Stylish, durable, and effective.

Only one problem: these filters were not for sale in the Netherlands.

That's why we decided to do it ourselves

We contacted the manufacturer, tested the filters extensively, and took the initiative to bring Phoenix to the Netherlands. We are now the official distributor of Phoenix Gravity Water Filters in the Netherlands.
